Bentonville… Cuter Than You Think

A few weeks ago, I was able to take a girls trip with my dear friend Kayce. She and I both love all things home and decorating. So it was a no brainer when she invited me to go to Bentonville with her and go to the Berry Festival put on by the Marrs Family. The Marrs family has their own show on HGTV and they do an incredible job renovating and decorating homes. We were able to visit a ton of adorable spots on our way to the farm.

Tonitown Winery

Technically, Tonitown Winery is on the way to Bentonville, not in Bentonville. But it’s a cute little winery and shop with live music on Friday and Saturday nights. We only stopped for a bit but anyone passing through should stop in and check it out.

KYYA Chocolate

Just down the road from Tonitown Winery, is the best little place to find chocolate! They give samples of everything and have the most creative little concoctions! Kayce and I each purchased a few items… This chocolatier is called KYYA Chocolates and their products can also be found in little shops around Bentonville. They specialize in dark chocolate, which is healthy!! Right?! 😉 This is one of my favorite stops on my way to Bentonville.

Crepes Paulette

Another one of my all time favorite places to stop in Bentonville is Crepes Paulette! Crepes Paulette sells sweet AND savory crepes. People who work there are fluent in French. Every crepe I’ve tried have all been delicious! I’m pretty sure Kayce is now hooked too. We each ordered a savory crepe since we visited during the lunch hour, and then ordered one sweet crepe to split.

The Downtown Square

Besides the Walmart Museum (which looked to be under construction), there are a ton of cute shops and restaurants on the square and just off the square. One of which is a coffee shop we stopped at for breakfast called Onyx Coffee Labs. I got my usual chai tea latte which was amazing. Kayce got a coffee and a chocolate filled croissant that was absolutely huge! We tried to take a picture, but of course it didn’t do it justice.

Another stop just off the square was an ice cream shop called Trash. Who doesn’t love ice cream. Of course we were going to stop there! It was hard to make a decision when we got to the counter because everything sounded so good.

Marrs Farm and Marrs Mercantile

Eventually the time came to head to the Berry Festival at Marrs Farm. We had to make a quick stop at their brand new mercantile though. The pillows, linens, rugs, decor… all of it was timeless and classic. If I lived closer I would drop in often. I loved how the actual store itself was designed as well. After our quick stop and a few purchases, we headed out to the farm. We were able to pick blueberries and meet a few people from the show.

Overall, it was an enjoyable girls trip hitting up all the best stops in and around Bentonville. We’re already planning to head back again next year! Next time you’re near Bentonville, you should stop in for a visit!
